Valiant Heart Communities (VHC) is a nonprofit foundation formed in 2017 located in the beautiful Texas Hill Country town of Center Point. Our core mission is to provide safe and affordable housing by way of donations and corporate support to help put a dent in the 300,000 and growing numbers of homeless veterans, veterans with special needs, and the families of veterans who desperately need housing. Our in-house programs and support will be geared toward PTSD, depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol addiction, those at risk and struggling to transition back into civilian life. We are committed to help serve those who have served our country.

Our flagship community is within Serenity Hills, LLC’s over 25-acre mobile home park, and currently utilizes a number of newly restored mobile homes for veterans. VHC’s living spaces can be fully furnished upon the needs of the individual. The completely developed neighborhood will ultimately provide attractive small cabins for single veterans, and larger accommodations for veterans with families as well as spaces for those who might want a roommate or two.

The first phase of development is nearly completed. The park was cleared of several structures, lands cleaned, and personnel put in place to oversee the ongoing progress. Our VHC neighborhood will ultimately include such amenities as a swimming pool, a variety of outdoor recreation and sports areas, an outdoor running track, a gym, a spiritual chapel, and a building with multi-purpose meeting rooms. Utilizing local professionals and guest speakers, VHC will offer free group and individual therapy sessions, and courses to help veterans transition into civilian life, plus workshops on gardening and life-enhancing skills. An area of the grounds will be dedicated to a free clothing shop and other “retail” shops for the community. Our animal rehabilitation center, greenhouses and gardens, and walking paths will nurture the inhabitants, and encourage spiritual and mental well-being. Veterans with a valid military ID or VA card will also be welcome to visit our amenities.
